The Charles S. Kimball Photographs consist of 60 black-and-white images of Unalaska, the Pribilof Islands, and Saint Michael, Alaska, and of the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey vessel "Explorer." Images include views of the interiors of the Russian Orthodox churches on Saint Paul Island and at Unalaska; views of seals on the Pribilof Islands; and scenes of work and daily life aboard the "Explorer."
